About Brendan

Brendan Joosten is RSM US LLP’s national telecommunications, media and entertainment sector leader, overseeing the firm’s assurance, tax and consulting practices that focus on the telecom industry. He has more than 15 years of experience providing auditing and financial advisory services to a variety of clients.

Experience

Brendan has served in an audit advisory role to our clients, consulting on an as-needed basis on their revenue recognition (including implementation of Accounting Standards Codification 606), equity and other areas. He has extensive experience working with private equity group portfolio companies, assisting in business combinations and revenue recognition-oriented due diligence matters on potential acquisition targets for these clients.

Brendan is a Securities and Exchange Commission client server with experience in public and private offerings, in addition to internal control over financial reporting and financial statement audits, including 10-K and 10-Q filings. He advises clients on accounting and financial reporting matters, as well as business and industry issues.

Brendan is based in RSM’s Boston office.
