Experience

Michael has over 15 years of experience in business enterprise taxation, including tax advisory, merger and acquisition planning, and accounting for income taxes. He has extensive knowledge in leading proactive domestic and global tax teams throughout an enterprise’s business life cycle. His teams lead through the type of common issues required including tax and risk minimization, mergers and acquisitions, entity structuring, IRS and other tax jurisdiction controversy matters, and tax accounting method issues.

Michael's digital asset clients include a wide variety of types of entities both foreign and domestic owned including investment funds, portfolio platform companies and public registrants, as well as high net worth individuals and family offices. The digital asset tax team delivers specialized thought leadership to clients about this ever-evolving industry and regulatory standards.
