About Zoe

Zoe Morton is a director in RSM UK’s consulting practice, where she focuses on risk and governance. She has significant experience leading and managing outsourced and co-sourced internal audit relations in financial services.

In 2025, she was selected to RSM’s Industry Eminence Program, which positions its analysts to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends shaping the industries the firm serves. Her focus within the IEP is on the financial services industry.

Experience

Zoe’s focus is on consumer credit and conduct risk management, with an emphasis on key regulations such as the Financial Conduct Authority’s Consumer Duty and vulnerable customer requirements. She is also a member of RSM’s internal audit methodology group, which supports the firm’s technical function by maintaining the firm’s leading-edge approach to service delivery.

Zoe has worked within financial services since 2003 and previously worked within a large high street bank’s risk function, specialising in anti-money laundering controls. She is passionate about taking a collaborative approach to help clients with compliance, especially as regulations become ever more complex.

When not at work, Zoe enjoys spending time with her husband Simon and three children. Zoe loves the arts, walking in the great outdoors and travelling.
